  • Goucher travels north west to compete in the Greg Richards Memorial Classic hosted by Allegheny College this weekend
  • The Gophers will face the host Gators on Friday and Hiram on Saturday
  • It will be the first time the Gophers will face both teams in the field
  • Goucher head coach Andrea Preston will coach against Hiram for the first time, a team that she served as the head coach from 2007-14

  • Julianna Skowron paced the Gators with 14 points while Chloe Rabold (12 points) and Zoe Soilis (10 points) also found double figures in the game
  • Allegheny was 6-20 overall and 2-14 in conference play
  • Hiram comes into the weekend 1-1 after defeating Waynesboro (Pa.) 86-68 on Tuesday
  • Alainna Conroy leads the Terriers with 25.0 points per game while Tashauna Wright (23.5 ppg.) and Madison Branch (11.5 ppg.) are also averaging double figures after two games
  • The Terriers were 10-16 last season including 4-12 in league action

  • Goucher defeated Gallaudet 62-58 in the season opener on Monday
  • Alayna McFadden posted a career-high 28 points including 21 in the second half
  • Anise Williams also had a career-best 27 points
  • Kyani Quarles had 10 rebounds in her collegiate debut

  • Alayna McFadden did not score in the first quarter against Gallaudet, but posted 28 points in the final 30 minutes McFadden has four career 20-point games
  • Anise Williams has scored double figures in 21 of 25 career games including five 20-point performances
  • It was the second time in McFadden and Williams both hit 20 points after Williams scored 27 against Yeshiva and McFadden had 23 points while the duo narrowly accomplished the feat last year in the season opener at Hood on November 13 when Williams had 24 points and McFadden posted 19 points
  • Goucher won its season opener for the first time since 2014-15 and for the third time since joining the Landmark Conference
  • Kyani Quarles, Claire Flynn and Jauniece Blackmon all made their collegiate debut against Gallaudet
