Caramina Tañedo joined the Goucher women's basketball staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2024.

"We are very excited for Caramina to join our program," said Goucher women's basketball head coach Mike Ricks. "It was evident early on in the interview process that she would be a great fit at Goucher. Her playing experience and her knowledge of the local basketball scene make for a solid foundation for a promising coaching career."

Tañedo recently wrapped up a four-year career at nearby Division I Loyola University Maryland from 2020-24.  Tañedo appeared in 66 games over her first three seasons before serving as a student assistant as a senior and made 16 starts for the Greyhounds.

A graduate of St. John's College who hails from Laurel, Maryland, Tañedo was DCSAA first team All-State and two-time WCAC honorable mention performer during her time at SJC.  A McDonald's All-America nominee, Tañedo was a team captain as a senior.

Tañedo earned her bachelor's in Psychology from Loyola in May, 2024.
