TOWSON, Md. — Another semester, another collective grade-point average of over 3.0 for the Goucher athletic department.

NEW ORLEANS — Each of Goucher’s track & field teams were bestowed All-Academic Team recognition by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association today, with the men’s team’s grade-point average of 3.53 ranking them third-highest among all Division III men’s programs in the country.

TOWSON, Md. — The Goucher community gathered in Kraushaar Auditorium this afternoon for Convocation, the annual celebration of the academic and artisitic achievements of its students.

TOWSON, Md. — The Landmark Conference today recognized 20 student-athletes from Goucher and another 204 from its other member institutions for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the 2014 Winter Academic Honor Roll.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. — A third-place finish from the distance medley relay team highlighted Goucher’s performance at the 2014 Landmark Indoor Track & Field Championships, held today at Susquehanna University.

CARLISLE, Pa. — By scoring 11 points in two relays, Goucher was able to finish in ninth place in the final team standings at today's DuCharme Invitational.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. — There were no top 10 performances for Goucher in the non-scoring Crusader Classic that was conducted today, but one individual from head coach John Caslin's squad did run the fourth-fastest mile in the history of the school's indoor track and field program.

FAIRFAX, Va. — Goucher fielded four male participants at the Patriot Games today, and two of those four managed to post times which placed them in the top 10 in program history at their respective events.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Goucher's Shannon Sanders Jr. (Nashville, Tenn./University School of Nashville) was the first to cross the finish line in the 400-meter dash at today's Muhlenberg Invitational.

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — Shannon Sanders Jr. (Nashville, Tenn./University School of Nashville) accounted for all 10 points Goucher earned today on the way to placing 14th overall at the Bow-Tie Classic.

TOWSON, Md. — When head coach John Caslin talks about his men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams, he focuses on the potential for growth this season. With a combined 19 freshmen and sophomores among the total roster of 31 athletes, and only seven seniors among the two rosters, his point is certainly hard to argue.
