Gopher Swim Teams Prep for Landmark Championships at Loyola This Weekend

TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher College men and women's swimming teams are set to compete at the 2024 Landmark Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, which are set for February 15-18 at Loyola Maryland's Mangione Aquatic Center in Baltimore.
Tickets for each session are available online at the above link. There will be no cash sales on-site.
The Gopher men, who were selected eighth in the conference pre-championship coaches' poll, are led by sophomore Ben Graff, who has accumulated 437.4 points in the SwimCloud rankings in 2023-24. First year James Piland has registered 358.5. Jack Buckley is the team's lone senior.
LANDMARK MEN'S SWIMMING PREVIEW
Goucher's women were tabbed seventh in the pre-championship poll. Junior Ella Robinson leads the Gophers in Swimcloud points with 503, followed by senior Darcy McFarland (465) and junior Olivia Reichardt (434.8). Robinson owns the conference's fifth-fastest time in the 50 breaststroke (31.87) while also ranking among the top 20 in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. Robinson's 100 IM time of 1:06.85 is also good for fourth in the conference. She reached the A final in the 200 breaststroke last season, finishing eighth.
McFarland owns the No. 4 time in the 50 backstroke (28.19) and has the No. 7 100 IM time (1:13.30).
