TOWSON, Md. — A senior rider on the equestrian team who just days ago became the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association national champion in open equitation on the flat was presented with the Coaches Award this evening during Goucher College's annual Athletics Awards Ceremony in Kraushaar Auditorium.

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher freshman Erika DiPasquale made an immediate impact on the volleyball court this past fall, ranking second in the Landmark Conference with 67 aces in her debut season. Even more impressive, though, is the amount of time she devotes to raising awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society off the court.

TOWSON, Md. — Six student-athletes from Goucher were among the 50 named by the Landmark Conference to the 2014 Fall All-Sportsmanship Team this morning.

TOWSON, Md. — The Landmark Conference announced its 2014 Fall Academic Honor Roll selections today, with Goucher accounting for 39 of the 371 student-athletes receiving recognition. The Honor Roll recognizes all fall student athletes who have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.

BRYN MAWR, Pa. — Goucher closed the curtain on its 2014 season tonight with a three-set loss at Bryn Mawr. Set scores were 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

WINCHESTER, Va. — Even after dropping the first two sets, Goucher had a shot at extending tonight's non-conference match against Shenandoah when it was up 24-23 and serving to win the third set. The Hornets, however, came out of a timeout and claimed the next three points to complete a three-set sweep of head coach Kelli Wilkinson's Gophers.

CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Goucher bowed to a pair of Centennial Conference opponents today and remained stuck on nine wins this season.

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — After dropping the initial set of its road encounter against Delaware Valley, Goucher rallied to take the next three in a 3-1 victory over the Aggies tonight.

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — Needing a pair of victories in its final Landmark weekend tournament of the regular season to have a chance at qualifying for the playoffs, Goucher instead registered two defeats this afternoon, dropping straight set decisions to hosting Elizabethtown and Moravian.

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher’s second-best attack percentage of the season helped ensure that the volleyball program ended its home schedule this fall on a winning note.

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher concludes the home portion of its schedule with a tri-match featuring Hood and Rosemont this Saturday, and the volleyball program will also be raising money for the American Cancer Society throughout the afternoon through the Coaches vs. Cancer program.

ARLINGTON, Va. — Goucher knew it would face a tall task trying to top a Marymount (Va.) squad which entered tonight’s matchup having won 20 of its first 25 contests to start the season.

TOWSON, Md. — Primary setter Sarah Johnson tallied 52 assists in Goucher’s two matches against Susquehanna and Juniata today, and the eighth of those helped her reach a prestigious career milestone.

TOWSON, Md. — For a second-consecutive night, Goucher suffered a three-set defeat to a member of the Centennial Conference. This time, that opponent was Washington (Md.), and the Shorewomen came away with a 25-10, 25-11, 25-19 victory.
