NOTES: The cross country teams hit the road for the first time this season at the LVC Dutchmen Invitational...in last week's season-opening Baltimore Metro Meet at home, first year Jayden Keels led the Gopher men with a sixth place finish, running a program-record 5K time of 16:43.54...classmate Terrica Thornton-Fillyaw led the Goucher women with a 5K time of 23:16.77...after Saturday cross country is idle until September 28 at the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury.

NOTES: Goucher plays its home opener under first-year head coach Kate Lindholm on Saturday, hosting Penn State Harrisburg and SUNY Canton in a tri-match...the Gophers fell 3-0 at Notre Dame (Md.) Tuesday...Penn State Harrisburg won its first three matches before falling to Alvernia, while the Kangaroos are coming off a win over Paul Smith's College Wednesday night.

NOTES: Goucher remained unbeaten with a 2-0 win at Hood on Wednesday night...the Gophers got goals from Jonathan Alvarado and Aquila De Carvalho in the road win over the Blazers, while Ale Sternini notched his 11th career shutout...McDaniel downed Wilson 4-0 Wednesday after dropping its season opener to Shenandoah...the Green Terror have won the last five games in the series and are unbeaten in the last seven (5-0-2)
