The Goucher College women’s volleyball team announced its 2017 slate, including eight home matches and four matches against 2016 NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship participants.
The Goucher Gophers women’s volleyball team finished the 2016 season strong with a pair of non-conference wins against the Bryn Mawr Owls and the Penn state-Abington Nittany Lions on Saturday, October 29th.
The Goucher College Gophers defeated local rival The Notre Dame of Maryland University on Thursday, October 27th in a tight four set match: 25-22, 17-25, 25-20, 26-24.
TOWSON, Md. – The Goucher volleyball team made the most out of its last regular season home match, defeating visiting Immaculata 3-1 (25-27, 27-25, 25-19, 27-25) in nonconference action Wednesday evening in the Decker Sports and Recreation Gymnasium.
TOWSON, Md. – Goucher College's volleyball team split a pair of matches on senior day in nonconference action against Marywood and Hood. Against Marywood, the Gophers fell in five sets (27-25, 16-25, 25-21, 19-25, 15-9). Goucher bounced back in the second match, winning 3-1 (25-18, 25-19, 25-27, 25-12) against Hood.
BALTIMORE, MD. - Wesley College entered today’s volleyball match with a 4-3 record and they jumped out to a big lead in all three sets to win the match, 3-0. With the loss the Gophers fall to 1-7 on the season.
Sept. 13 – WINCHESTER, Va. – The Goucher College volleyball program dropped a 3-0 decision to host Shenandoah University on Tuesday evening. The Gophers fell by scores of 25-16, 25-16 and 25-11.
Sept. 10 – TOWSON, Md. – Looking for their first victory of the 2016 campaign, the Goucher College volleyball program put together an all-around performance, defeating Rosemont College, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon.
Sept. 7 – TOWSON, Md. – The Goucher College volleyball team opened the home portion of their 2016 schedule, dropping a three-set decision to Dickinson College on Wednesday evening.
Sept. 3 – HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Goucher College volleyball program competed in the second day of the Eastern Mennonite University Invitational on Saturday morning. The Gophers dropped a pair of decisions, 3-0, to Bridgewater (Va.) and Salem College.
Sept. 2 –HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Goucher College volleyball program opened the 2016 season, dropping a 3-0 decision to Eastern Mennonite University on Friday evening. The Gophers dropped the match by set scores of 25-20, 26-24 and 25-20.
August 26 – TOWSON, Md. – The 2016 version of the Goucher College volleyball program will open a new chapter for the Gophers, as first-year head coach Kait Kozak looks to lead the team into the future.
