SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Faced with an early 8-0 deficit, Goucher twice got within five goals of Susquehanna in the second half of today’s road Landmark matchup. The Crusaders, though, never let the visitors get any closer, and they ultimately emerged with a 16-9 victory.

Meissner Contributes Five Goals to 13-7 Triumph
TOWSON, Md. — Rita Meissner (Yonkers, N.Y./Yonkers) accounted for Goucher's first two goals in tonight's game against Southwestern (Texas), and both of them wiped out a one-goal advantage for the visiting Pirates. The senior midfielder also tallied three of her team's final four goals, helping the Gophers achieve some separation as they went on to claim a 13-7 victory.

Gophers Power Past Blue Jays in Second Half
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — In Goucher’s first Landmark victory this season, 10 different players scored goals in a 17-4 win over Merchant Marine. The Gophers were not as varied in their scoring this afternoon, but the efforts of Stefi Perry, Rita Meissner and Sophie Smith were more than enough to get the team back over .500 in conference play.
