Landmark Reveals 2008-09 Winter All-Academic Team
MADISON, N.J. - The Landmark Conference today announced the names of the 32 student-athletes who make up the 2009 Winter Landmark All-Academic Team, which recognizes two male and two female athletes who have excelled athletically and academically from each of the eight Landmark institutions.

Hogstrom Lowers School 50 Free Record by 0:00.54
ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. Goucher's Britt Hogstrom (Killington, Vt./Woodstock Union) placed first and broke her own school record in the 50-yard freestyle today at the Seahawk Invitational, a last-chance meet for Division III swimmers looking to improve their times in order to qualify for the 2009 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships in March.

Hogstrom Shares Top Honor with Scranton Swimmer
KINGS POINT, N.Y. Goucher's Britt Hogstrom (Killington, Vt./Woodstock Union) came away from the 2009 Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships that were conducted this weekend with more than just three titles. Her performance during the three-day meet that concluded tonight also earned her a share of the conference's Female Swimmer of the Year award.

Hogstrom, Sutherland Combine for Five Titles
KINGS POINT, N.Y. Britt Hogstrom (Killington, Vt./Woodstock Union) successfully defended her titles in the 50- and 100-yard freestyles, plus she was the first swimmer to complete the 200 free, but she wasn't the only Goucher swimmer to place first in more than one individual event at the 2009 Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, which concluded tonight.

TOWSON, Md. The two Goucher swimmers who are reigning Landmark Conference champions in two events both placed first in a pair of individual events today to help the Gophers earn victories over Drew, 54-37, and Merchant Marine, 65-25.

Gophers Bow to Shoremen, Drop Back to .500
TOWSON, Md. It wasn't until the eighth event that Bethany Natoli (Alexandria, Va./O'Connell) broke through and provided Goucher with its initial first-place performance of this evening's meet against Washington (Md.). By that time, the Shoremen (7-2) were well on their way to a 119-73 triumph over head coach Tom Till's Gophers.
