SCRANTON, Pa. — Morgan Richter (Cleburne, Texas/Cleburne) repeated as the 200-yard butterfly champion tonight at the 2014 Landmark Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Championships, and by doing so, he becomes only the second male swimmer in the history of Goucher's swimming program to have earned three conference titles.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Morgan Richter (Cleburne, Texas/Cleburne) became the first male swimmer in the history of Goucher's swimming program to win a conference title in back-to-back seasons when he touched first in the championship finals of the 100-yard butterfly tonight at the 2014 Landmark Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Championships.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Both of the times Goucher's Sam Davis (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends) posted in the 50-yard freestyle today at the 2014 Landmark Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Championships were faster than the one which had stood as the school record in the event for nearly two decades.

TOWSON, Md. — A season’s worth of training all builds up to this weekend for the Goucher swimming teams, as the Gophers head to Scranton, Pa., for the Landmark Conference Championships, a three-day marathon event which begins tomorrow morning.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Sam Davis (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends) took first place in the 50-yard freestyle by 1-hundredth of a second and Morgan Richter (Cleburne, Texas/Cleburne) touched first in three events, but Goucher still came up short against Marywood, 153-96, in a clash of Landmark Conference teams this afternoon.

TOWSON, Md. — For the 28th-consecutive semester, a streak which has now lasted for well over a decade, Goucher’s men’s and women’s athletic programs have combined to register a grade-point average of over 3.0.

TOWSON, Md. — Colin Richter (Cleburne, Texas/Cleburne), who swam in all nine individual events for Goucher this afternoon, finished as the runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle and placed third in both the 400-yard individual medley and 1000 free, helping the Gophers gain a 52-36 victory over Drew.

CHESTERFIELD, Va. — Morgan Richter continued his assault on the men's swimming program record book this weekend, breaking his second school mark of the season in the 1650-yard freestyle at the Yellow Jacket Invitational as Goucher registered an eighth place finish at the 11-team meet.

TOWSON, Md. — Men’s swimmer Morgan Richter, who recently broke the school record in the 1,000-yard freestyle, and equestrian rider Ashley Bent, who picked up a pair of blue ribbons in the intermediate fences class, have been selected as Goucher’s Male and Female Gophers of the Month for November.

WASHINGTON — Morgan Richter and Colin Richter continued their streaks of winning at least one event in every meet this season, and Goucher managed three events wins on the afternoon against Catholic, but the Cardinals were able to come away with a 149-108 victory.
