BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A goal by junior Valerie Mendoza (San Diego, Calif.) seven minutes into overtime clinched a 3-2 win for the Goucher College field hockey team on Sunday at Moravian. The Landmark Conference match-up served as the teams 2018 season finale, as well.

After an outstanding performance in an upset victory over Elizabethtown on Saturday, first-year goalie Devin Brashear (Escondido, Calif.) of the Goucher College field hockey team was named the Landmark Conference's Defensive Athlete of the Week for the period ending Oct. 21, 2018 on Monday afternoon.
