TOWSON, Md. — The Landmark Conference, which is in its sixth year of competition and is comprised of eight like-minded institutions in the mid-Atlantic region, today recognized 235 student-athletes for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the on the 2012 Fall Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. Twenty-four of the honorees are from Goucher.

NEWVILLE, Pa. — Goucher had two runners compete at the NCAA Division III Mideast Region Championship today.

ALTOONA, Pa. — As he has been in four of the team's five previous races this season, senior Nick Manta (North Wales, Pa./Abington Friends School) was Goucher's top performer at the 2012 Landmark Conference Men's Cross Country Championships, conducted today at the Fort Roberdeau Historic Site.
GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Of the four runners Goucher had entered in the 8,000-meter race today at the Gettysburg Invitational, senior Nick Manta (North Wales, Pa./Abington Friends School) was the first to cross the finish line.

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher graduated the two-time defending champion for the race, but the team's remaining members earned enough points to place sixth.

NEWVILLE, Pa. — Goucher had five runners entered in a race for the first time in 2012-13, but because of the unique long course/short course format under which the Dickinson Invitational is conducted, the Gophers still didn't receive a team score.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Although Goucher entered only three runners in today's Juniata Invitational, it did provide them with an early look at the course on which the Landmark Conference Championships will be conducted in October.

COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — Goucher entered three runners in the season-opening Baltimore Metro Meet, conducted today at Oregon Ridge Park.
