MADISON, N.J. — The Landmark Conference today announced the names of the 32 student-athletes who make up the 2011 Fall Landmark All-Academic Team, which recognizes two male and two female athletes who have excelled athletically and academically from each of the eight Landmark institutions.

MADISON, N.J. — The Landmark Conference, which is in its fifth year of competition and is comprised of eight like-minded institutions in the mid-Atlantic region, today recognized 248 student-athletes for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the on the 2011 Fall Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. Twenty-nine of the honorees are from Goucher.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — By placing 12th in a field of 328 runners at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship today, Joey Negreann (Denver, Colo./Cherry Creek) qualified to represent Goucher in the NCAA Division III Championship on Nov. 19.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Goucher's Joey Negreann (Denver, Colo./Cherry Creek) was the seventh runner overall to cross the finish line today at the 2011 Landmark Conference Men's Cross Country Championships, making him an all-conference performer for the third year in a row.
MADISON, N.J. — A highly competitive cross country season will come to a head on Saturday when Goucher's two teams travel to Bethlehem, Pa., to compete in the 2011 Landmark Cross Country Championships on the Goodman Campus of Lehigh University.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — At the halfway point, Goucher's Joey Negreann (Denver, Colo./Cherry Creek) was running in 12th place in the Collegiate White race at today's Lehigh-Brooks-Paul Short Run.
NEWVILLE, Pa. — Goucher's Joey Negreann (Denver, Colo./Cherry Creek) placed eighth in a field of 184 runners in the standard 8,000-meter race at today's Dickinson Long-Short Invitational.

MADISON, N.J. — Goucher produced the male cross country runner chosen as last week's top performer in the Landmark Conference.

MT. WOLF, Pa. — By running the 20th fastest time for an 8,000-meter race in the history of Goucher's men's cross country program, senior Joey Negreann (Denver, Colo./Cherry Creek) captured first place in a field of 97 runners at today's Coach Achtzehn Classic conducted at John Rudy County Park.

WESTMINSTER, Md. — Competing without the event's defending individual champion, Goucher finished in fifth place today at the Baltimore Metro Meet.

TOWSON, Md. — The honor of playing Goucher's first intercollegiate athletic contest at home during 2011-12 goes to field hockey, which launches its season against Notre Dame (Md.) on Beldon Field at 7 p.m. Thursday.
