MADISON, N.J. - The Landmark Conference announced today that 32 student-athletes have been honored with selection to the 2007 Fall Landmark All-Academic Team. Two male and two female athletes from each of the eight Landmark institutions make up the team which recognizes athletes who have excelled athletically and academically.

MADISON, N.J. - Seven men's soccer players were among the 30 student-athletes from Goucher who were recognized by the Landmark Conference for academic accomplishments today by being included on the 2007 Fall Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.

MADISON, N.J. - Sophomore midfielder Galen Guindon (Wallingford, PA/Friends Central) represents Goucher on the inaugural All-Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Team which was revealed today by the conference.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Julien Greco (Shutesbury, MA/St. George's School), a sophomore forward on Goucher's men's soccer team, was named today to the ESPN The Magazine 2007 Academic All-District II College Division Men's Soccer Team.

MADISON, N.J. - Goucher had a pair of student-athletes recognized today by the Landmark Conference for their performances during the week ending Oct. 28.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Presented with the opportunity to finish the season with a three-game winning streak, Goucher followed up victories over Lancaster Bible and Gwynedd-Mercy earlier this week with a 3-2 Landmark Conference triumph this afternoon over Juniata.

TOWSON, Md. - After setting up his team's only goal of the first half today, Julien Greco (Shutesbury, MA/St. George's School) scored both of Goucher's goals in the second half. The sophomore forward's five-point performance propelled the Gophers to a 3-1 triumph over Gwynedd-Mercy.

LANCASTER, Pa. - Geoffrey Gray-Cornelius (Poughkeepsie, NY/Oakwood Friends School), Patrick DeLapp (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing Area) and Brandon Nicholson (Germantown, MD/Damascus) all scored their first goals of the season today as Goucher downed Lancaster Bible in convincing fashion, 7-0.

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher had 83:30 to respond to the goal that gave Scranton an early 1-0 advantage today. Instead, the Gophers suffered their fourth 1-0 loss of the season and this one to the Royals ended their chances at earning one of the four spots in the upcoming Landmark Conference championship tournament.

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher entered today's game against Catholic as the highest-scoring team in the Landmark Conference, averaging 2.31 goals per game. But the Gophers failed to score against the Cardinals in the first half and trailed 1-0 at the break.

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher appeared headed to overtime for a third time this season when today's Landmark Conference game on Beldon Field against U.S. Merchant Marine Academy was still scoreless entering the final minute of regulation. But overtime was averted when Chris Flanagan tallied his fourth goal of the season with just :32 showing on the clock to lift the Mariners past the Gophers, 1-0.

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher remained unbeaten at home this season by beating Hood, 4-2, today on Beldon Field.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - All of the statistics suggested a close contest and that's just what the Goucher-Moravian game was today. The Greyhounds managed to protect a one-goal lead over the final 65:50 to earn a 1-0 victory over head coach Gary Dunda's Gophers.

TOWSON, Md. - Although Goucher and Susquehanna combined to take a total of 27 shots during regulation today, neither team was able to score a goal. Ten more shots during overtime also failed to break the scoreless deadlock, producing the first tie in the history of the Landmark Conference.

SALISBURY, Md. - Although Goucher never did manage to break through and get a win over Salisbury during its stay in the Capital Athletic Conference, recent history suggested that the Gophers could play at the same level as the Sea Gulls. In fact, the last five times the two in-state rivals played, the margin of victory for Salisbury was a single goal.

MADISON, N.J. - Despite a number of scoring chances, Goucher wasn't able to capitalize on any of them today and as a result suffered a 3-0 loss to Drew in the inaugural Landmark Conference game for both teams.
