TOWSON, Md. —Thirteen student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. Seventeen programs with a GPA over 3.0. It all adds up to a 30th-straight semester of academic excellence for Goucher’s athletic department.

TOWSON, Md. — Six student-athletes from Goucher were among the 50 named by the Landmark Conference to the 2014 Fall All-Sportsmanship Team this morning.

TOWSON, Md. — The Landmark Conference announced its 2014 Fall Academic Honor Roll selections today, with Goucher accounting for 39 of the 371 student-athletes receiving recognition. The Honor Roll recognizes all fall student athletes who have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.

NEWVILLE, Pa. — Running the final cross country race of his collegiate career, Zachary Byrum took over 20 seconds off his previous personal best time at the 8K distance.

STEVENSON, Md. — Competing for the final time prior to the 2014 Landmark Conference Championships, Goucher finished in fourth place behind McDaniel, Johns Hopkins and Stevenson today at the Mustang Twilight Tune Up.

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher finished in seventh place ahead of Hood, Gallaudet and Stevenson at today's Goucher Cross Country Classic. The top runner for the Gophers was junior Isaac Jennings (Narberth, Pa./Harriton), who placed 37th in a field of 82 entrants.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A freshman was the first runner from Goucher to cross the finish line, but a senior followed only 13 seconds later in the College Men's White 8,000-meter race this afternoon at the Paul Short Run.

NEWVILLE, Pa. — A freshman posted the 13th-fastest time for a 4,000-meter race in the history of Goucher's men's cross country program today at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational.

YORK, Pa. — As one of only two male cross country runners to place first at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships three times during his career, it was a foregone conclusion that Jeff Olenick would be a member of the league's Silver Anniversary Men's Cross Country Team.

EAST MANCHESTER TWP., Pa. — Isaac Jennings (Narberth, Pa./Harriton) was the first of four Goucher runners who competed at today's Coach Achtzehn Classic at John C. Rudy County Park to cross the finish line.

COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — Goucher's Isaac Jennings (Narberth, Pa./Harriton) and Zachary Byrum (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) were separated by just over four seconds as they were they were the 17th and 18th runners, respectively, to cross the finish line at the annual Baltimore Metro Meet, conducted today at Oregon Ridge Park.

TOWSON, Md. — Between the men’s and women’s programs, Goucher’s cross country teams have had multiple all-conference performers in each of the last five seasons.
