Sea Gulls Knock Gophers Out of Tournament
SALISBURY, MD Goucher accomplished something against Salisbury today in the semifinals of the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference championship tournament that no team has done in more than six years but the top-seeded Sea Gulls, who are pursuing their fifth straight CAC title, still managed to defeat the Gophers, 20-13.

Tersigni's Goal Sends Gophers to Semifinals
TOWSON, MD Marlo Tersigni (Leominster, MA/Lawrence Academy) cashed in on a free-position shot with 1:01 left to play today, scoring the goal that snapped a 9-9 tie and allowed Goucher to defeat St. Mary's (Md.), 10-9, in the opening round of the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference championship tournament.

Gophers Bow to Sea Gulls, Slip to .500
TOWSON, MD Goucher took a 1-0 lead over Salisbury just :36 into today's contest, added two more goals to build its advantage to 3-0 and stayed ahead for more than 11 minutes. But the nationally ranked Sea Gulls reeled off eight unanswered goals at one point in the first half and strung together nine consecutive goals over a span of 12:46 in the second half on the way to a 23-9 Capital Athletic Conference victory.
