MADISON, N.J. — While other teams were playing just to get into the Landmark Conference postseason tournament, Goucher and Drew both had playoff berths locked up before the opening face-off in Ranger Stadium this afternoon. Still, with the tournament's No. 1 seed up for grabs, the two teams had plenty of incentive to win.

TOWSON, Md. — With Kyle Boncaro (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva) and Rory Averett (Ivyland, Pa./Council Rock North) both contributing four goals, Goucher matched the longest winning streak in the 19-year history of its men's lacrosse program today when the Gophers defeated Moravian, 17-6, in front of a crowd of 300 in Gopher Stadium.

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher improved to 14-0 all-time against Catholic with a 10-7 triumph over the Cardinals tonight on Beldon Field.

MADISON, N.J. — Goucher's Justin Dunn (Denver, Colo./Mullen) was selected Defensive Player of the Week in the Landmark Conference today for his performance in a 4-3 victory over Scranton.

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher scored twice in the first quarter and two more times in the second period and that turned out to be just enough offense to come out on top of Scranton, 4-3, in a Landmark Conference game today in Gopher Stadium.

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Nine different players scored goals for Goucher as the Gophers pinned a 14-5 setback on Washington & Jefferson this afternoon.

MADISON, N.J. — For the third time during the 2010 season, Goucher's Rory Averett (Ivyland, Pa./Council Rock North) was selected Offensive Player of the Week for the sport of men's lacrosse in the Landmark Conference today.

KINGS POINT, N.Y. — Goucher scored four times in the fourth quarter and, just as importantly, kept the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy totally off the scoreboard the entire final period in earning an 11-7 victory this afternoon that allowed the Gophers to take over sole possession of first place in the Landmark Conference.
